The Software Lab is designed to advance, promote, and support the use of statistical methodologies and computing within the NIFTEM research community. The focus of the Software Lab is to broaden the understanding and use of statistical applications among students and teaching fraternity.
This Lab provides NIFTEM community, a platform through which they express research, methodological and statistical computing questions as well as discuss statistical issues in their research projects.

The major objectives of this lab are:

1. Promoting the use of statistical packages and software (SPSS, MS-Excel, Design Expert, etc).
2. Facilitating use and understanding of customer relationship management software.
3. To familiarize students with business transactional software.
4. To facilitate the understanding of business accounting software like MARG etc.
