Mission

Centre for Food Research and Analysis (CFRA)

In order to fulfil its vision, CFRA will have following mission:

Establish state-of-the-art of Laboratories in different areas of food quality and food safety.
To acquire all accreditations that are necessary so that CFRA can serve its stakeholders.
To build capability in all areas of food quality and safety to serve industry and other stakeholders.
To act as a referral lab of global standards for regulatory research.
To develop collaborations with the best institutes in the world.
To act as a bridge linking research, academics, industry, and society
To become a self-sustainable center of excellence in the quality and safety of food through its services of global standards in areas of testing, inspection, certification analytical research, etc. for all stakeholders of food including regulators, policymakers, consumers, industries, etc.

Accreditation

CFRA is an accredited state-of-art well established analytical laboratory with integrated assessment from NABL, APEDA & FSSAI. The laboratory has the capabilities of carrying out quality control and certification of food products at different stages of supply chain.
