NIFTEM, Kundli was established under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India to provide a conducive ecosystem for education, research, industrial promotion, support and entrepreneurship in the food processing sector. Over more than a decade, NIFTEM has been a harbinger in academic innovations, peer-reviewed research publications, filing patents, obtaining research grants, developing technologies and creating entrepreneurship in Food Processing.
